Cloth That Remembers
In Balogun, a seller keeps fabrics the way other people keep letters — folded, named, never quite given away.

She can tell you which print walked into a wedding in 2014 and which one has not sold because it is waiting for the right person. The stall is a memory palace made of wax and cotton.
Shoppers come for a color. They leave with a story they did not know they needed — a cloth their aunt wore, a pattern their mother would have chosen.
Soon, those stalls will have another door. Not to replace the market. To let someone in Accra, or Peckham, find the same bolt — and know who folded it.
